After years of navigating pregnancy + postpartum challenges, listening to the stories shared by other mothers + trying to find support, Lexy built Rhythm + Ritual Pelvic Health to support women through their journey of matrescence (the process of becoming a mother). This practice centers on collaborating with mothers to help them feel confident in their bodies, competent in their roles + connected to their families + communities.

Lexy believes that women are the experts of their own bodies + that her role is helping mothers shift their own ability to impact change in their lives through daily habits + routines.

She is a licensed + registered occupational therapist based in Baltimore, MD. Her background includes work in the school system supporting people with sensory integration challenges, directing a preschool + being a dedicated stay-at-home mom.

Lexy graduated from Thomas Jefferson University in 2014 with her Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy. Since then she has immersed herself in the following education related to pelvic health:

  • OT Pioneers: Introduction to Pelvic Floor Therapy for Occupational Therapists (Lindsey Vestal MS, OTR/L, The Functional Pelvis)

  • Female Hormone Health Masterclass (Michelle Lyons PT, MISCP)
